The Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of Comieco on 8 July has just ended, which also approved the 2020 Consortium Report, in which the new members of the Board of Directors in office for the next three years were appointed. One of the most important results achieved in 2020 concerns the recycling rate of paper and cardboard packaging, which exceeded 87%, anticipating by 10 years and exceeding the EU objectives set for 2030: a goal that is the result of the commitment and of the work of Comieco and of the entire paper supply chain and which certifies that Italy is a model of excellence in Europe for the recycling of paper and cardboard.
