The XII edition of ..incostieraamalfitana.it Festa del Libro in Mediterraneo awarded Vincenzo Rubano with “Soldiers of Peace” (Guida) in the Cantilena Square in Minori on 10 July. Also present Colonel Vincenzo Lauro, commander of Italian Headquarters c/o Joint Force Command Headquarters Naples, Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Grilletto of the command of the Southern Forces Italian Army.

With the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the European Commission, the Municipality of Minori, and in collaboration with the International Nassiriya Prize for Peace and the Pro Loco of Minors.

“Vincenzo Rubano’s story is a good story” – writes Toni Capuozzo in the preface – “because it hides nothing: the anguish before the start, the effort, the weaknesses. It becomes easier for the reader to identify not in an invulnerable envoy of war, but in someone like you, thrown to the front by his careless curiosity, and grappling with his inevitable, human, fragility”.
