100% Campania

100% Campania

Over 150,000 tons of waste paper is collected each year in Campania: not all waste paper is used and processed in our region. A good part goes to the national market if not abroad, depriving our territory of the related value. Every 100,000 tons of paper from separate waste collection in our region and recovered here corresponds to 300 jobs and over 80 million of added value. The proximity transformation cycle, therefore, creates value by the territory for the territory. The first network of companies for sustainable packaging was created from this philosophy, operating in the chain of recycling and processing of secondary raw materials from separate waste collection in the territory. The network acts as an accelerator for the exchange of best practices and knowledge, both within it among participants and outside it with innovative and sustainable proposals and solutions.

“To incentivise and enhance the use of materials sorted according to a local value chain, the Network works to combine skills and resources to develop products that are increasingly sustainable and innovative. Network participants are characterised by the sustainability of their plants and products and by their continuous commitment to measuring and reducing their environmental impact.”
