RicicloAperto (Open Recycling), the paper and cardboard recycling chain that reaches its fifteenth edition this year, is back from April 13th to 15th.
Three days of plants open throughout Italy: an opportunity for in the field environmental education for adults and children.
Promoted by Comieco, the National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging, the initiative involves more than 90 plants throughout Italy, where it will be possible to attend all the phases of the paper and cardboard recycling cycle from the selection of waste at the recycling platform in paper mills to the transformation into new products in the paper industry.
A good example is the company Cartesar, the famous handmade paper production company which in 1974 decided to launch the challenge of innovation through the production of recycled paper for corrugating machines made exclusively using waste paper as a raw material. Since then, the company has continued to grow relentlessly, explains Fulvio de Iuliis, Cartesar sales manager, during the Scala Mercalli reportage on February 27th dedicated to paper recovery and recycling.
